Run as a Windows Service
at System Startup |
|
eeMailer's outbox is a Windows System Service.
eeMailer outbox is a Windows System Service and by default, is set to run in the
background automatically
at system startup. This way it's always available to send email.
eeMailer also has an optional Window's System Tray icon indicator.
eeMailer's outbox is a very low overhead SMTP email sender service, a software program
that takes
virtually no CPU time to check the outbox for unsent email. So it's
recommended that you leave it set to run in the background at startup as a
system service.
However, if you don't wish to run at startup, just un-check the 'Start at Startup' checkbox on the main
eeMailer's outbox configuration screen.
If you have created scheduled email, or are creating email to be send by 3rd
party programs, scripts or batch files, you will need start eeMailer at startup
as an active Windows System Service.
